Neposmart’s patented technology means that our IP Camera is an all-in-one device with an integrated smart controller that allows you to view, record, alert, and control your door, gate, siren, floodlight, and Perimeter Beam anytime, anywhere from your smart phone, tablet, or iPad without the need for any additional hubs or add-ons.
At Neposmart, your privacy is very important to us. We designed our product in such a way that we do not store and collect any of your information, as it is stored directly on your device. We do not require you to create an external login and an account with us, which means that the functionality of your device does not depend on our servers and that you do not have to pay any monthly fees or a subscription to use your own device or view your own feeds. You truly own and control your Neposmart device, no-one else.
No. We designed Neposmart in such a way that we don’t keep any of your account information, videos, or pictures on our company servers. Your account information is stored only inside the devices you own, not on our servers. No matter who tries to get that information, whether it be a Neposmart employee, a person with mal intent, or a Government entity, we have no access to it.
No, Neposmart Cameras do not require a monthly subscription. Typically subscriptions are required to access an account or view stored data on an external server. Neposmart operates differently. Your account is stored within the Neposmart app, and all data is stored on your personal Amazon Drive, Dropbox, USB, or other location. This creates complete security and privacy for you and makes our products a one time cost. Once you purchase the Neposmart Camera, you own it and control it.
There are two ways to do this. You can either view a short video on our Videos page, or you can go to our Support Page and select your device to view the appropriate Quick Start Guide for setup. For more details you could also download the full User Guide. If you have additional issues or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

There are several ways to join to your new Wi-Fi.
1.The easiest way is to change your new Wi-Fi router name and password to the same name and password of the old Wi-Fi router. If your new Wi-Fi router has the same name and password as the old Wi-Fi router. You don’t need to do anything as the camera will automatically connect to the new router.
2. You cannot change your new Wi-Fi router to the same Wi-Fi name and password of the old router but your old router is still functioning:
Power and connect your new router to the internet. Then Power the old router and your camera will connect to the old router locally. Connect your phone to the old Wi-Fi router and you will be able to connect to your cameras. Then go to the settings of your camera App, then Wi-Fi network, add Wi-Fi manually by adding the name and password of your new Wi-Fi router then click Save/Join.
CAUTION: MAKE SURE YOU ENTER THE CORRECT NAME AND PASSWORD ( all cases should be followed) OF THE NEW WIFI ROUTER. IF NOT, ONCE YOU ENTER THE INCORRECT NAME AND PASSWORD AND JOIN, YOU HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO DO STEP NO. 3.
3. if your old Wi-Fi router is broken or not functioning and you cannot change your new Wi-Fi router name and password to the same as the old Wi-Fi name and password, the only way is to physically connect your camera to the new router via Ethernet cable and join to the new Wi-Fi router.

Whenever your Neposmart camera restarts, it will pan back and forth, up and down. The reason is that it has lost WiFi connection and is trying to find it again. It will intermittently pan every five minutes until it does. For some reason, if you have no internet connection, we advise that you unplug your camera until your internet connection comes back to prevent the camera motor from continually moving.
